Discovered by chance – and instantly impressed! Toskana 49 delivers authentic Italian cuisine, warm service, and a charming atmosphere. The pasta is among the best I've had anywhere in the world. During my 10-day stay in NYC I came back four times – each visit a true highlight. Absolutely 100 points! Mr Bernard 🙌😘

The one thing you need to know about this restaurant - which I wish I'd known - is that it is extremely noisy. The ceilings are low, there's no carpet, and the noise just crashes around the place. It was so loud that the waiters had to shout out the specials, and whenever they did this at adjoining tables the conversation at our table just stopped. We just couldn't hear one another. The rest of it - the food, the service etc. was fine. Not worth travelling far for,...

The best restaurant I've ever had the opportunity to enjoy in all the times I've been to New York. It's definitely not inexpensive and watch out for the $150 bottle of wine but everything was fresh and delightful! The sauce for dipping your head was exquisite and the ambiance was perfect. Highly recommend!!
