Very cute spot in the city, I found this place in 2004 and have been back atleast once a year. Cool and random old school decor that everyone can appreciate. The food is tasty and the drinks are good. Staff is super chill.
I’ve been to Trailer Park Lounge a handful of times over the past 11 years and while I love the kitschy concept, the prices (for what you get) are absolutely out of control. $19 for a comically bad coronarita and $15 for a juice glass worth of Frose is just highway robbery, even for NYC. Judging by the lack of customers, I don’t think I’m alone in the sentiment.
Gratuity is added automatically to an already inflated bill, despite poor service. Bar closed an hour and a half before closing time- waitress was unpleasant on that front and was annoyed when we said we didn’t want any food (at midnight). My friend tried to order a beer at the bar before the bar closed and the bartender said they had closed the bar 20 minutes ago- which was contrary to what we had been told by the waitress. Strange that the only way they want to make money...
