I paid less than $7 for a meal in new york. I didn’t get food poisoning and my hunger was satisfied. It was my first time going to Popeye’s and it met my expectations entirely. Nothing more. Nothing less. Well done.
As a southerner THIS IS MY FAVORITE POPEYES. THE front staff is superb. The asian woman even knew i had changed my order from last time. But all the waitstaff is kind, efficient and work extremely hard in a thankless job because some of the customers are a challenge but they persevere. The cooking staff does a good job in addressing changes in orders and providing HOT food. This location is perfectly fine. Food comes out good and crispy, nice and warm. I normally receive my food pretty quick when I order from here. There are problems though. The fries while crispy are cold. The chicken sandwich isn't picture perfect. It's good but not the juiciest piece of chicken out there. It fails to live up to the hype. The home style Mac n cheese is great though! The shrimp is nice and crispy too. Wish they gave more sauce though.
