I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The owner’s behavior towards my children and me was shockingly rude. When my three-year-old accidentally knocked the table with a fork, the owner immediately grabbed his arm, showing no regard for his age or my ability to handle the situation. When I calmly suggested a more respectful approach, the owner overreacted and rudely asked us to leave. As a parent, I expect basic decency and understanding, neither of which were demonstrated here. I will not be returning and would caution other families to avoid this establishment.I was also with my one-year-old daughter and my mother during this incident. We were all hungry and eager to enjoy a meal together, but the owner’s unacceptable behavior forced us to leave. It was a disappointing and upsetting experience, especially considering the hunger of my young children and the inconvenience caused to my family. This level of disrespect towards customers, especially families with young children, is unacceptable.

We came in after going to the American natural history museum, and we met Susan. And our New York experience was complete. Sat at the bar, felt very welcomed. Fabulous drinks!

Good food! But no specialty or unique dishes. The menu is very much catered to the UWS customers, but they do their dishes quite well. The pork buns were especially great, and were sweet and perfectly steamed. Service was good. Overall a nice place to have on the UWS, and great for classic (although a bit Americanized) dim sum.

Everything was perfect; food service and atmosphere. And less than $15 for a delicious vegetarian lunch! I asked the waiter if they could add some steamed tofu to the veggies, which they did for no additional charge! My friend had a beer, so hers was a bit more.

Was looking forward to trying the xiaolongbao (soup dumpling) from this restaurant, they are a bit sweeter than I am used to. Not bad, just not my preference. The pork and shrimp Shumai is a must. Wonton soup, egg drop soup, and scallion pancake are all good too. Great service!

Soup dumplings were good, crispy beef was ok but not crispy at all. The chicken & mixed veg was watery and inedible. Really soggy veg and processed chicken. Probably best to stick to dimsum and not main
