We ordered two ramen and some appetizers. Ramen was good, but the fried soft crab was very fishy, felt like was made with crab thats dead for a long time.

A sushi restaurant that I happened to stop by on the way to Brian Park.
The indoor atmosphere is not too noisy.
Neat open kitchen
This is a very pleasant udon restaurant filled with curry and truffle aromas.
The food is clean and the menu is varied, which I like.
Of course, the taste is excellent ^^

The food was great but the chicken was dry. I guess because the chicken wasn't thinly sliced that's why it got dry.

Cream cheese in Philly rolls was extremely rubbery and staff refused to offer substitute or discount. Extremely concerning as it was a dairy product.

No. 1 noodle portion (Waguy+truffle) was just incredibly good. The food came to the table faster than the drinks. The portion is gigantic. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

my family was visiting NYC for the first time. Jorge, our waiter, was absolutely fantastic!!!! we loved the atmosphere, loved the food, my husband was ecstatic with the saporro during happy hour, overall we had such a wonderful experience!!! 1000/10 has vegetarian options for me and Jorge explained it thoroughly, very sweet!!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The arrangement and lighting created a more intimate mood, but it was a very relaxed atmosphere.
While I cannot speak for some other dishes, the udon came on what I initially thought to be hilariously large bowls and were served with ladles instead of spoons. Far from it, the carefully crafted utensils and dinnerware added to the appreciation of the whole experience which you will understand when you eat with it.
The Wagyu udon was a very flavorful and filling entree, but the hamachi (yellowtail) was a star, recommended by my server. I only wish I had taken a photo before digging in.
This establishment I can easily recommend for it's food, staff and thoughtfulness in presentation.
Edit: It's been a few years since I've been back, and the food remains as above average quality, although I didn't feel there was anything special about the dishes nor did anything stand out.
The Wagyu sushi is a fine choice to try, and I do recommend it if you've never had, but is hard to recommend as a recurring order from the price point.
The different udons offered are all enjoyable, but unless you're a connoisseur of udon, it isn't apparent if there is anything about it that makes it a grade above the rest.
The sushi was fresh and of good quality, with a clean but simple presentation.
The establishment is large and lively due to the guests, but perhaps a bit of a rushed / hectic environment for service staff. The food felt like it was being pushed out as quickly as possible in a sort of autonomous fashion with little soul. This resulted in my table ending up with more food than should reasonably sit on it at times.
Because of this, the overall the experience felt like it was meant for socializing with co-workers and entertaining visitors to NYC rather than a dining experience, yet the price point reflects more like it should be a dining experience.
TLDR: This is a fine establishment to eat and my view is just my opinion on the matter.

Ordered the Wagyu udon deluxe combo, the service was amazing but the food was pretty regular. Nothing fancy except just in a large bowl. There are plenty other options around the area.
