I live a few blocks over and this is a staple for me! Nothing fancy on the outside (or inside) but the food and service are fantastic! The server is kind and attentive. The food (duck salad, curry, and drunken noodles) are as good, if not better, than any other Thai in the city for a reasonable price. Overall it’s a comfortable vibe with quick, great service.
Absolutely looooove this place!!! I probably eat here at least two times a week and the food is always very good. My go-to have been all the curry options on the menu and the Lycee Thai ice tea :))) highly recommend any of their dishes oh and also try the spicy potato side dish too :)
It’s only decent because of the relative lack of any better options. I’ve tried a few of the appetizers and they just are not worth it for either the price or taste. If you must eat here, stick to the fried rice and noodles maybe. But even those have been getting worse in my experience.
We ended a 5 mile upper west side coastline walk here, the duck salad was good and we were impressed by the overall flavor even though the only other table was gossiping at a decibel of 110
Has been closing an hour before they’re supposed to close. They disconnect their phone and turn off their online services. It’s Friday night and I tried to place an order at 9pm (closing at 10pm) with nothing. Also, portions have been getting smaller.
The woman answering the phone is rude and disgusting. I had a terrible experience with this restaurant. She called my phone harassing me for a tip before even completing the delivery, despite the fact that I always tip after the service is done. The order included a 3 dollar delivery fee. That she claims that they won't receive. The woman was extremely rude, unprofessional, and even canceled my order, hanging up on me in the process. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. I will never support this business again.
The duck salad is so good - years and years strong
pad see ew was lit af, highly recommend
Food tastes great and they have lunch specials 7 days a week. Staff is friendly. Parking is difficult, so subway might be the best means of transport.
Got severe food poisoning from the pad thai 🤢
Restaurantji Recommends
As of 2024 Lunch special is $12 and doesn’t come with soup :/ regular size is $15. Food good tho
Nice, small restaurant. I LOVE the curry. The food here is so amazing. This is my favorite place to go and eat Thai in Washington Heights. Most people take out because dine-in is in a smaller space.
Excellent Pad Thai and Pad Se. Generous portion
