It's a good underground shopping mall with a lot of delicious food to try here, including dumplings, spicy hotpot, chicken rice, etc. There are also barber shops, flower shops, and milk tea shops. Worth stopping here for a lunch break.

Visited on a wed afternoon, and more than half of the vendors were closed. Cool vibe and concept.Tried a Korean Hot Dog. Not my jam, but the kid liked it.

Turnstyle opened to great fanfare in April 2019 with the Mayor in attendance. After all an arcade with shops and eateries was a novelty in the Big Apple. I had visited several in Paris. I enjoyed going there whenever I was in that neighborhood. Sadly covid affected it badly. A visit recently was depressing as a lot of the stores were empty and the vibrancy of this once thriving arcade was gone. I always liked the dumpling shop but wondered how I could enjoy a plate of piping hot pork dumplings with the unappetizing aroma coming from a nearby restaurant which had pervaded the whole arcade. Thankfully I was wearing a mask. Would I need to hold my breadth? Gagging would be a possibility. A gentle clothespin would be ideal but if the dumpling store workers saw me they would get upset. I decided to go to Chinatown instead. If this arcade continues till the end of the year it would be a miracle.

Bunch of little shops, mostly selling food. Not very big, just a single long hallway, seems like a third of the stores were closed. Only real downside was that it’s so hot down there, not much air conditioning or fan.

Really nice place! Has a variety of good and small shops, recommend going. The main downside is the smell, it’s really bad.

Love this area. It is literally in the train station right beyond coming through the turnstiles. There are a lot of little eatery's, clothing stores and areas you can sit and talk. Very nice area to run through and waste time.

Extremely hot day in NYC and I happened upon this place while looking for another store.Seems like there are great food options and I saw some Pressed juice stand as well as woops macarons which are my absolute favorite. Most of the benches were taken so maybe next time I will visit earlier, the really cool part is that the subway is just a few steps away. The area is really hot though, must be majority due to the trains. Nice discovery all in all

2023-05-17 - TurnStyle was a long shot from the day it opened on April 19, 2016. It was built in a little used section of the Columbus Circle subway mezzanine at the south end of the station. Opening night was exciting, though, and even the mayor and press were there. It was surprisingly vibrant in the beginning, with lots of fancy shops, good food, and crowds. But the glow faded quickly, and one by one the markets started to close. Now, thanks to the pandemic there are only a few shops and eateries left. I walked through yesterday to see what was left. If TurnStyle lasts until Labor Day I'll be surprised. See it while you can.
