I got the Salmon Handroll and Small Udon. Noodles were good, texture was chewy and soup base was good. The flavor of the salmon was overpowered by the rice and sauce.

Food was not good. The broth was salty. I got the beef niku udon and the beef was clumped together as if they just tossed frozen meat into the bowl. We also got the katsu curry udon with pork, pork was sooooo dry and broth was also super salty. Noodles were the only consistent, kinda al dente but everything else made it unenjoyable.

Service was fine. They seated us quickly and took our order but don’t expect anyone to check in on you. They have water at the table so they take your order, bring it out, and hand you the check.

The atmosphere is cute and fancy. But we didn’t even eat half of each of our bowls…

Pretty expensive for how bad the food was….

Found this place while walking around in NYC and it was AMAZING!! The food was delicious the flavors were so good and the dessert was just as good. Would LOVE to go back and eat here again. One of if not the best places I ate at in NY.

The udon was great. Slurp worthy and has good springy consistency without tasting too artificial if that makes any sense. Noodles can be over done & soggy or too al+dente but the udon was just right. The curry base was a bit thicker than the regular broth which is just the way I like it. All in all the food was great, flavors on point and service came pretty quick.
I did deduct a star from the service and atmosphere as I felt very very rushed to wrap up deoaite them repeating 'take your time' and I know they didn't meant it. Don't get me wrong I know some patrons linger forever but I was eating as fast as I could without even a moment to chat and I still felt like being rushed out. I mean that just takes away from the whole meal experience. I want to enjoy my food which I felt the nudge to get out definitely made it less enjoyable.
Noodle shops are everywhere. Some places I go back to and others less so and it's stupid things like this that makes me less likely to return.

The kimchi bacon udon is some of the best ramen I have ever had.

pretty solid udon spot. if you find yourself in ktown and wanting something that’s not your usual korean food, would totally recommend this place. it’s more of a “japanese korean fusion.” i got the kimchi bacon udon (which was noted with a “best” banner in the menu) and it had decent amount of kimchi and bacon. restaurant is clean and spacious and bathrooms were also clean which is very much appreciated in nyc :)

Udon Lab might have a tucked-away entrance on the bustling streets of K-Town, but once inside, it’s surprisingly spacious. I tried a special combo featuring hot soup udon—hopefully, they’ll consider adding it permanently to the menu because it was fantastic! The spicy oil, with its rich sesame and peanut aroma, took the himokawa udon to the next level. The restaurant is tidy, including the restroom, and the service staff were attentive and responsive.

Here I've never waited the service is great. The udo. Is fresh and delicious and the broths are good. I like the simplicity of the menu. If I don't feel like choosing a place I always can go here

Wasnt sure what to expect when i arrived but the vibe was very inviting. I listen to Asian Lofi mixes constantly so i wnjoyed the music. Food aroma is also very important to me and everything smelled good, no "oily oniony"smells. I just stuck to my usual food choice and compared to most places everything was balanced flavor wise and not too salt enhanced. Pricey but NYC prides itself on getting into your pockets. Worth going for a date.

The food was delicious here. Both sushi as a starter, udon with seafood and curry with pork. Plenty, tasty, efficient service and affordable prices for the area.

I had high hopes for Udon Lab but was really disappointed. The toro hand roll tasted off and didn’t seem fresh at all—the fish had clearly gone bad. (to clarify it actually tasted like marinated with yogurt) I ended up with stomach issues and diarrhea afterward. When I told the server, there was no apology or concern, and it seems like it’s a pretty common thing happen to them. It’s alarming that the restaurant seems to have no regard for customers’ health or safety. I expected much better quality and care. Definitely won’t be coming back
