Nice coffee place
It’s a smaller but more down-to-earth (!) version of PlantShed (florist/cafe with locations on the UWS and LES).It's also the only completely vegetarian spot in the area. The food is fresh; the mini quiches are baked from scratch daily. The chickpea patties are made to order and it shows. They also offer soups, salads, and coffee. Their baked goods – including bagels, croissants, muffins, and danishes – come from Davidovich (unlike the standalone bakeshops, Davidovich Bakery’s wholesale division is certified kosher by the OK).UGC eats gets its name from the many plants available for purchase at the cafe: all plants were grown at the East Harlem-based Urban Garden Center. This establishment is owned and operated by the same Gatanas family that founded the Urban Garden Center.

Newly reopened and awesome small restaurant near both the Museum of the City of New York, and the New York Mount Sinai Hospital complex. I had the Wrap of the Day, which was a Chickpea Patty Wrap with Whipped Feta Spread -- Delicious. Great service, great food.
Wonderful atmosphere, Love the hot chocolate with steam milk, the pastries and some of the food items like the chilli cheese bread.
A super nice, comfortable place, good prices, good coffee and food. and very good attention!!

Fantastic place to eat and drink coffee
I've been to his coffee shop twice, both time their wifi didn't work:(meal was good but they forgot three of my company's order, so it took a while unfortunately.
Get the toast. GET THE TOAST!!!! I got it once and scarfed it down before snapping a photo, then did it again and again and lost all hope. The decor is fun and I discover something new every time. There is plenty of seating and good music to listen to. They also have their own selection of books to keep you busy, and plants to purchase if you're in the need for a succulent or two....I believe I've seen a game or two to play but I'm always too busy eating the TOAST to take proper note. The staff is always friendly and the food doesn't take long to get.
Friendly staff. Great food, patrons and environment to focus on work. Will definitely return
Decent little cafe but wish they would turn on the heat in the winter!
