Exceptional service. All the savory food we tried was incredible, beautifully presented and thoughtfully paired. I'm a consistent customer at this restaurant. The team demonstrated sincere warmth, many smiles, and real kindness. The existing feedback truly reflects this spot.

Two cocktails and a huge veggie combo plate for only $40. Delicious. Atmospheric, authentic and utterly charming.

Delicious food and charming employees, especially Luba. My first visit here was in 1981, and I saved the old menu all these years. The annual Thanksgiving turkey dinner is our family's beloved tradition. Note: This menu is from 1981 and the prices have risen ever so slightly!

My friends and family love this place so I keep going back but probably the last time......they are ALWAYS understaffed......and yesterday was no exception.....the food much like their neighbors at Velselka comes out cold or mildly warm at best......and whenever i go I explain every time I am a strict vegetarian and my dish came with meat!!! ?

Done and done.....never again

I tried several different dishes from the menu. I tried to find that very native home taste. But unfortunately I did not feel it. It would be correct to call this cuisine American with Ukrainian names of dishes. Meat dishes (such as cutlets) in a kilogram of breading. The puree tastes no different from the puree of any fast food chain. Pickled vegetables (cabbage, pickles, etc.) - you will understand by taste that they are far from pickles. Potato pancakes are my pain, I have not tried the worst yet. The first feeling is that you are eating just breading - the structure of the potatoes is wrong, the sour cream is artificial. Unfortunately, the borscht turned out to be vegan with beans, but in my opinion, real borscht should be thick on meat broth and with pampushkas.

In varenyky (pierogy) with potato, there is also CHEESE inside, even though it is not stated on the menu.

For me as a lactose intolerant client, this information is crucial. Moreover, I stated it to the waiter as I asked about the butter or any dairy inside. However, the stuff here is obviously not disturbed about these kind of things.

Now, my evening is ruined. The overall taste of food was good.

This place is no-frills but definitely worth a visit if you're looking for traditional Ukrainian options.

Food was so good. Chicken Kyiv and Olivie were so tasty, so was kampot. Service was okay, our server was way too overwhelmed with how many tables she had and I understand that. That’s why we ordered everything fast and it came out pretty quickly, can’t say servers attitude was pleasant but I think she was just stressed. It wasn’t my first or last time in this restaurant and I’ll definitely be back.

Felt like a very authentic Ukrainian restaurant, the type of food your grandmother would cook. Highly recommend the lamp chops, they were the stand out item of the night.
