Delicious food and charming employees, especially Luba. My first visit here was in 1981, and I saved the old menu all these years. The annual Thanksgiving turkey dinner is our family's beloved tradition. Note: This menu is from 1981 and the prices have risen ever so slightly!
I tried several different dishes from the menu. I tried to find that very native home taste. But unfortunately I did not feel it. It would be correct to call this cuisine American with Ukrainian names of dishes. Meat dishes (such as cutlets) in a kilogram of breading. The puree tastes no different from the puree of any fast food chain. Pickled vegetables (cabbage, pickles, etc.) - you will understand by taste that they are far from pickles. Food was so good. Chicken Kyiv and Olivie were so tasty, so was kampot. Service was okay, our server was way too overwhelmed with how many tables she had and I understand that. That’s why we ordered everything fast and it came out pretty quickly, can’t say servers attitude was pleasant but I think she was just stressed. It wasn’t my first or last time in this restaurant and I’ll definitely be back.
