Have been eating at Uncle Nick's for 18 years, the food is great, atmosphere is great, good place to eat.

I was craving Greek food and my friend suggested this place. The food was AMAZING and it was average priced, maybe even a little cheaper when you consider the portions. I’m pretty sure it’s the first time we all went out and ordered totally separate items off the menu: there’s so much variety you can find something to satisfy any craving.

Only 4stars because the place was out of mussels.

Great gyro plate. Fluffy rice, perfect salad, well seasoned lamb with a great atmosphere. If you like greek food, you have to try this place!

One of best Greek spots in the city. Touristy, but still great food.

If you notice. The vast majority of reviews below are 5 stars. The reason being. The owner brings in fresh hand chosen fish from the market daily.

Been coming here for 20 years. Love the place.

We called in here for some freshly cooked meat and we weren't left disappointed! The steak was great as was the lamb kebab. The staff were very helpful to check out what contained egg as both my wife and I have an allergy.
Not so good ambience or tasty food for the price we paid.

This place always makes me happy. Get a carafe of very nice retsina and inopikilia (appetizers platter) and saganaki-tiri (flaming cheese), and the cares of the world melt away. If you have room either galakto-boureko (sort of a sweet cheese blintz) or yogurt make great desserts.

The food is average but the prices are above average

The moussaka was a favorite, years and years ago. Decided to try it again, and, while the contents were much the same, it was dried out and chewy. I'd probably give two stars, except for nostalgia's sake, and that I don't want to be too hard on an old favorite based on only one dish. It's a large menu, after all. Service, as always, was fine, brisk and professional.

We eat at Uncle Nick's every visit to The Big Apple. The service is excellent, with experienced wait staff, knowledgeable about every dining option. If you do go, don't miss the grilled octopus.
