Delicious ice cream. Portions are massive... A single ball of ice felt like too much and I really like lots of ice cream. It was quite noisy in there and a bit difficult to communicate with the servers, but as I say, it was very nice 😁
Had a really great experience at Van Leeuwen Ice Cream on 6th Ave in New York.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and there’s such a great variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. I especially loved that you can sample flavors beforehand, which makes choosing so much more fun.
They also offer many vegan options, different cup and cone choices, plus lots of toppings. Everything tasted delicious! There are also nice seating areas...

Van Leeuwen is a great example that quality does scale. This is custard-based ice cream, and one notices that they use high-quality ingredients. They also have a wide variety of flavors. This is premium ice cream, but comparable in price to other shops in town. The only downside is that there is no seating space in the store.
