Warm, modern, and intimate restaurant that has a creative take on Indian cuisine. Upon entry, we were greeted welcomingly. You’d notice the decor immediately—stunning and attention to detail from top to bottom! The menu had so much to choose from and the servers were extremely helpful with explaining the differences. But the star of the show has to be the presentation of the food and the flavorful sauces. Worth the city prices. Would definitely come back for another special occasion!

The place is a speakeasy Indian restaurant in the heart of NYC and recommended by the Michelin Guide. We had a very pleasant and delicious dinner, including classics like Byriani and Chicken Kebab, delicious Anul Cheese Naan and their signature dish Camel Seekh Kebab. The service was awesome from start to finish with all the staff being very friendly. If you're into Indian food, this is a definitely a great place for it.

Reliable Indian food with bold flavors and good spice balance. The atmosphere is welcoming and staff is attentive. It’s a little pricier than expected, but the quality of the dishes makes it worth it for a nice meal out.

Amazing modern Indian restaurant, one of my absolute favorites! The atmosphere is unique, the service is excellent, and the food is incredible. The Madame Makhani with coconut naan is a must try, one of the best Indian dishes I have had in a long time. I will definitely be recommending this spot to all my friends!!!

One of the worst places worst places I’ve been to in my life. I came here for my 30th birthday and the waiter did not even put a candle on the cake. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I don’t know how they are in business.

This was my 3rd trip to Veerays and each time it just delivers the whole package. Came one or twice for the excellent lunch, once for a fabulous dinner from the a la carte menu, and tonight for the truly special Exotic Meats tasting menu. They also have a regular prix fixe menu which will be our next adventure. This is truly outstanding Indian food from a master chef. The spices are pronounced without ever overwhelming the food the are accenting. The food is perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, and while tasting rich is actually quite light. The service is both formal and attentive, but also warm and unobtrusive. The small restaurant is plush and very comfortable. One piece of advice: Go!
