the jerk chicken was really good and the mac and cheese beneath it was decent. the service was really fast, but i feel like it is a bit overpriced. $17 for a single gyro feels like a bit much.
Okay for a snack on the go. Would not recommend to dine in. The Gyro wrap was not bad
Pedí un hamburguesa de la casa muy buena, me atendieron bastante rapido, no tuve tiempo de probar más opciones pero definitivamente recomiendo.
We got the chick'n sandwich (regular not deluxe), chopped impossible cheese sandwich and fries. The food was delicious, particularly the sauces and crispness of the chick'n. They were out of bottled water and would not provide cups of water. No available bathroom. Coming from out of state, the lack of water is particularly odd but otherwise, it was good food.
The flavors and the texture on the gyro were on point. The Mac bowl with Nashville sauce was tasty but on the spicy side for sure. Loved it overall.
I went the other week with my best friend who is not a vegan (in the slightest) and we both were extremely satisfied with the food. It's a cute little spot with a little instagram photo wall. We ordered the jerk chicken gyro, the chicken tenders box and a strawberry milkshake. All very very good. Milkshake had real strawberries in it and the gyro had a great flavor and texture. Chicken tenders were pretty basic but good none the less.
Visiting NYC for work and I was so excited to have so many vegan opens again! Vegan on the fly was right across from my hotel. Absolutely delicious, huge portions, great flavors. Not too greasy either for being comfort food.
We have been following this establishment and have been looking forward to visiting for a while. Great food and great staff. Vegan on the Fly is a reason for us to set foot on Manhattan again! Thank you!
Excellent food but very few seating options.
There are so many good VEGAN options in nyc… this place is not one of them! Old food, Mac and cheese was sweet? (All cheese was sweet tbh) felt like a wasted meal on my short trip.

I ordered delivery to my hotel room due to rain, but it still tasted relatively fresh. I started off with the sausage empanada which was a little disappointing. The dough was ok and well cooked but the filling was lacking something, it tasted like just a bolognese sauce, some cheese or more cheese would have helped it. The Beyond Mac and Cheese bowl was GREAT! the Mac and cheese has a great taste, reminded me of an upscale Kraft. The beyond chicken was crispy and well cooked, the BBQ sauce and Ranch were also spot on. The flavors and textures all blended deliciously! Update: Came back after two years and the food is still bomb! I dined in this time, but unless you’re nearby or want to skip the delivery fee, takeout is the way to go. The seating area is tiny—just a few stools and shallow counters. I had the mac and cheese bowl with double vegan kefta. Still an excellent comfort food spot! Stopped by for a takeaway meal after work. I went for a gyro with Jerk vegan chicken. Very messy but good flavor. Knocking off one star since it was a bit overpriced, but I will certainly try this again next time I'm in the neighborhood
I ordered the signature burger which was very good and very big. I found the people behind the counter to be very nice and helpful.

My gf got the gyro, I got the chopped cheese. Good stuff, scratched the vegan junk food itch.
