Make sure to double-check your receipt when you shop here. This was the most unpleasant experience of my New York trip. The male cashier added items I never purchased to my bill, and it was only after I happened to notice and went back that another employee issued a refund.

The shop is fabulous, like walking into Wonka’s factory the river of chocolate pours from the walls. The server, Ana, was very friendly and welcoming.
Parking: The parking garage was huge, despite the shops being packed the garage had plenty of parking and Rick, the valet was very friendly, it was so nice to not have to worry about where to put the car and to have validated parking.

I bought a chocolate, and when I came to the cashier, I used contactless pay. And cashier said that I tapped 25% tip, when in fact I didn’t even touch the screen. What kind of scam is that? Why the hell I would give a tip for choosing a chocolate and bringing it to the cashier? You don’t want to pay your workers and try to use machine to “ACCIDENTALLY” tip them to cover their salaries or what? I wonder how many people tipped “ACCIDENTALLY” and just didn’t want to say anything or didn’t notice it. And the cashier tried to blame me saying that I tapped 25% tip by accident, when I didn’t even touch the screen. Be careful when you pay there. If you’re the owner, get a better machine if you’re trying to do fair business. Cashier said she canceled the first transaction with the tip, and charged me again. But I checked my credit card, they refunded me for the second transaction? Like what’s going on? You kept the tip. And Fernanda didn’t even respond to my email
As soon as you step into Venchi the warm welcoming atmosphere can be felt! From the great and attentive attention you receive from all the employees and servers, some of them like Douglas who I had the pleasure of meeting. He made sure I found everything I needed from new flavors of chocolate to gelato which I had never tried before. I hope you can all stop by if you find yourself near cause you won’t regret it!
