Vicolina is a neighborhood gem on the Upper West Side. The food is very good, especially the gnocchi and panzanella salad. The service may be slow, but flag down the waitstaff for a delightful experience. The restaurant is always packed, but the outstanding staff, food, and ambience make it worth the visit.
