So 4/26/24. I had high hopes as my friend and I haven't seen one another in a while and were meeting up here. She found this place on Instagram. So I show up before her. The host greets me and I tell him I'm meeting a friend, but I wasnt sure if she was there yet. Which she wasn't. He asked if we had a reservation. I told him I wasn't sure and was it necessary. He said yes because they were kinda packed and that I should call my friend. Remind you it's like 6pm on a Friday.. and didn't SOUND packed at all. Which I was right. But lemme go on. So, I call my friend and ask about a reservation and she said she didn't know it was necessary but was close.I then see a lighter skinned man than me walk up to the host and simply say he's going to the bar. So that's space for him but too busy for me. Ok. So I say the same. I'm going to the bar.... WALK IN AND THERE'S BEYOND SPACE. THEY WERE BARELY EVEN OCCUPIED. About 15 ppl were inside, if that. Plenty seats and bar seats... at least 10 at the bar. So I walk in sit down... annoyed but still trying to have a great time. Friend comes. We order food. Great pitcher prices... my friend food comes first. I wait about 10 mins. Mine comes out... WRONG ORDER. I said it correctly he got it wrong. So now I have to wait another 15 to 20 min for a chimichanga. And was still charged full price... I guess the free shots were supposed to help.Overall just made me never want to come back as it felt racially weird. Especially since there were other black ppl in there. Guess I looked too urban or something. Also, the food was awesome. Just really weird service.

Some clients took me here on a business trip. I'm from Texas and was skeptical about Mexican food in NYC but this place was amazing. Drinks were strong and food was absolutely delicious, plenty of options on the menu as well, highly recommend!

Vida Verde is a fun, lively spot that's great for brunch. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the drinks were strong, creative and delicious. Their bottomless brunch option is $30 with the purchase of an entree and includes mimosas, bellinis, and bloody marys and is offered until 5PM on Saturdays, and until 8PM on Sundays, making it the perfect option for a late brunch. One highlight for me was the margarita market that offers a large selection of unique margarita flavors at $14 for a glass or $50 for a pitcher.

We loved the bottomless brunch experience here, just $30 for 90 minutes and the drinks were strong! I loved the breakfast burrito and French toast, and the Queso FUNDIDO to start!Amazing and attentive service and a space that was great for our birthday brunch!

We enjoyed ourselves there. The atmosphere was very upbeat, almost too clubby at times with the volume of music but it was 8pm so I guess it was fine. The restaurant was definitely busy, it was taco Tuesday. We both had the mix and match $6 tacos that were on special and the $5 Tecates. The service was fine. Nothing above and beyond but very nice and friendly. We were greeted at the door and were given a table for two. I like the fact that we were in one of the corners because there was a lot going on.I think the only downside of the experience, which wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, was the drunk 30-something year old white woman who was literally so loud and so drunk she was disturbing everyone. I don’t think she should have kept doing shots of tequila, but I guess to each their own. She was just a problem for everyone and was so loud it kept interrupting our conversation and meal. The food was very good. We tried 4 different tacos each and they each had different delicious qualities. If you like trying variety, Tuesday night is definitely the night to go because you can get a little something of all different kinds of tacos. All in all, I would definitely go back again.

Stopped in on a Saturday evening and ate at the bar. Food came out quick and it was delicious. The atmosphere is so cozy and the prices are great especially for being in the city. I now see there’s a rooftop portion, which I’d love to experience the next time I go back.

We went as a group of 5. We made a reservation, so no wait to be seated. We were upstairs, and the place is small. The decor is colorful and vibrant. The margaritas were good. I got a tamarindo with tajin on the rim. The food was bland: I got the chicken bowl with everything. My boyfriend liked his pastor tacos, and the quesadillas were good from our friends. I didn’t like the passion fruit margarita. It was too sweet for me. Time flew by for a 2 hour reservation only. All the tables are high with high stools. Our waitress was rude id say. Don’t remember her name but she gave us attitude when we said we weren’t ready to order yet lol like what? Okay…. I wouldn’t go back to be honest. The place was mid. There’s better Mexican spots to go to. Trust me. But I can see why people hype it? It’s just the decor. The vibes weren’t even it or lit.
