Highlights include beef skewers, momo chicken, shishito peppers, and octopus balls. The restaurant is a neighborhood staple known for its friendly service, though it has a small space that fills up quickly. good ambience

Love this restaurant. Surprised not full for lunch. Guess too many Japanese options in vicinity.
Still reminiscing Bourdain Cooper YouTube now more than decades ago.

Of course, ordered Kawa as well as more yakimono. Tofu must. Takoyaki as well.
Lunch special Unagi don now tamago good idea for portion, keeping prices reasonable.

Annie our server staple and favorite.

I'm so happy to have come back and found the food and atmosphere is just as good as I remembered. Agedashi tofu is still one of my faves. We got lots of skewers and left super happy with the authentic Japanese goal grills. It takes a bit of time, but it's got the perfect smokey taste. Definitely make a reservation, but if you get there early on a weekday, you'll have some bar space for 1-2 people.
