Excellent dinner with a small group. Arrived at 6pm and it was very quiet, but filled fast. We were able to have a great conversation at the table and it was a great noise level. Service was attentive and not over-bearing and the food was excellent.

The food and service at Villa Berulia are outstanding. They serve Italian/Croatian/Dalmatian classics; it is easy to tell that ingredients used are fresh & excellent quality. We were particularly impressed by the wine list, the quality of Croatian wines they offered, as well as stuffed zucchini flowers & pasta and veal dishes. Each dish on the menu is a terrific choice, so you cannot go wrong whatever you choose, but always make sure to ask the servers for recommendations & specials of the day to better match you personal preferences! Now, the service: the servers at Villa Berulia are easily some of the most talented & professional servers we have had a pleasure meeting. They go above and beyond to make you enjoy the atmosphere & food, all while making you laugh! Villa Berulia has the type of food and service that will make you want to dine there over and over again. Trust, you will become a regular after the first time dining there! Shoutout to Alex and Stipe and their team. You guys are outstanding!!!

We went back for the first time in a year. Decided to try the restaurant week (s) menu for $45 per person. Appetizers were very good and big. Had eggplant rollantini and the beet and goat cheese salad. For mains we both had chicken Marsala which was delicious and on the bone, but just a little tough in places. For dessert we had ricotta cheesecake and the tiramisu. Both were good. Service was excellent and friendly. Ambiance , including low volume bossa nova music, was perfect. Had montapulciano wine and Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. It was an excellent pour, though both wines were just slightly above average in quality. One more thing. The bread was just ok. Why can't restaurants have quality choice breads on the table? I'd even pay more for that. A delicious assortment of great breads can't be beat.

A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. I was greeted warmly as the first in my party to arrive, and my request to sit outside was enthusiastically granted.  Pedro was a wonderful server and made us feel so comfortable throughout the evening. He shared the specials and invited us to order anything we liked - even if it wasn't on the menu. I asked for Bucatini Cacio e Pepe. It was outstanding. As were our appetizers - zucchini flowers and burrata. The dining room itself was traditional Italian and wonderfully “old school”. It bustled with happy diners - pretty filled for a Thursday night. I will be back as soon as possible to dine there again.
