Another wonderful evening at this fabulous restaurant1 I must give a shout out to the bartender Josh, our waiter, Pedro and the impeccable host Stephan. The staff is just wonderful too. The special artichoke appetizer was just out of this world.

This business is extremely unprofessional. Their customer service is horrendous and it takes forever to get a resolution. I ordered 2 records totaling in over $300 plus rush shipping and there is no way to get updated on where in the process my order is? Furthermore, once I realized that I wouldn't get my order in time, even with rush delivery, I asked for a refund. When they finally responded, I was told there were no refunds due to the personalization process and that my records were "most likely" in the process. A month later I get a random email now stating that my records need further editing because the time exceeds the limit, but they can just refund me since it might take another 20 days before it ships. I responded with questions and am sure it will take another 20 days to get a proper response. Save yourselves and use another company. The stress is not worth it. Horrible experience.

As always an enjoyable evening... food was great ( I had the squid pasta with seafood and ate it like I had not seen food in months, it was great) ...service was attentive, drinks were abundant... in short just everything you would like from a restaurant It has become one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants and we always look forward to returning

Always a stop when I am in NYC. It's like going home and getting mom's feel-good cooking. There's a reason they have been in business for over four decades. Here's to many more scrumptious visits!

My husband and I had dinner last week. He ordered the veal chop special- it was stuffed with ham, cheese and then had a marsala sauce with mushrooms. I had their special duck ragu. Both were delicious. We had enough to take home for lunch another day. And, we were amazed that there was no buildup of oil in the leftovers- this made us feel better. Most italian restaurants, the leftovers are swimming in oil. We will be back more often.

I hadn't been there in ages, even though it is in my Murray Hill neighborhood. I was truly blown away by the incomparable level of service and decorum we experienced. The servers were professional without being starchy and anticipated and attended to your every need or wish with grace and politeness. The Maitre d was exceptionally accommodating and warm and the food was spectacular. Overall, a terrific night out!

This is a quintessential local spot. You wouldn’t know it was on 34th St. unless you stand right in front of it, but one you walk in you know you’re in the right spot, even if it’s your first visit. It’s often crowded in a good way - there is a reason people keep coming back. I came in the first time almost two years ago and have been here nearly weekly since. The staff: Josh, George, Al, and the team make you feel at home. The owners, Alex and Steve, are frequently on site and always greet you with a smile. The service is top-notch and is equally matched by the food and drinks. I recommend any of the pastas, the stuffed sole, or fish of the day. I’ve had nearly everything on the menu I can have and haven’t had a miss yet.You can have an IG restaurant or a good restaurant. This is just a good restaurant that you won’t regret spending an evening at.

We really like this place. It is truly a traditional type of neighborhood restaurant. The staff take great care of you. They make you feel at home in a genuine way, and they will accommodate any special need. The food is very good. The portions are appropriately sized (as in, NOT chinsy or sparing). The overall atmosphere is very good and very personable. This restaurant has been run by the same family for 43 years-- now the 2nd generation has taken it over. Great place, and if you live anywhere near this restaurant, you really should pay a visit and check it out. And if you live further away, and happen to be in this neighborhood, definitely stop by for a meal. We have done so on multiple occasions, and have really enjoyed the entire experience each time.

Restaurant was very accommodating to us as we needed to slide our reservation later by one hour. Dining spaces are very cozy but can be noisy. It was a busy night. We really appreciated that they set tables with linen and lighting was great. My eggplant rollatini was hidden under too much sauce but the Bronzini was wonderful. The special appetizer of avocado and crabmeat timbale was equally good although the shrimp francese sauce lacked the lemony punch and had no capers. Skip the strawberry shortcake.

Beautiful, candle lit. Shared the crab & avocado special which was delicious. Had veal Marsala and shrimp scampi. Big portions. Great service and very big pours on drinks. Would recommend to others and come back again!

not in the top tier of NY Italian restaurants for food, not even a place for great red sauce, just bland generic offerings that don't sing at all on the plate, and at those prices you can do a lot better.
