I got a large honeydew tea with boba. Quite expensive, but hey, it's NYC. I think the ratio of powder to tea is a little off. The milk tea tasted almost cloying in a way. I would've liked more tea flavor. It was really lacking the refreshingness of fresh honeydew. The amount of boba was sufficient and the quality was good.
I'd say it's average overall.

I had a strawberry fruit tea with mango bubbles, the tea was good but the bubbles not really, the tea also had big chunks of strawberry in it.

I got the kumquat lemon tea and it was perfect, not sweet, full of zesty flavour. Tapioca here also has a specific flavour and texture I pretty much enjoyed :)
Asked for cheese foam, barely got any. Asked for bubbles, didn’t get any but got charged for it.

Short: I just can't support nor recommend a place whose organizational culture is to treat customers poorly.Long: Horrible customer service from the staff.I have been going regularly starting two weeks ago to buy the same drink I first tasted in Washington DC, and although this place has the watered-down version with barely any flavor I purchased it just because of the convenient location. The drink is $9.20 no problem. Usually when I go it's empty but yesterday it was crowded so while waiting on the line I started reading the flyers on the wall. One of them mentioned points. So when it was my turn I informed her I just learned about the points and asked why her why she didn't mention the points to me. Her reply was that now that I mentioned the points she will give me a points card. Then I asked the logical follow-up question: what about stamps for the other four drinks? She replied next time. I said are you serious? You know I bought the drinks why aren't you giving me the points? It's you that never mentioned the points to me. She ignored me and went off to make the drink. I was on my way back home again this afternoon, and I thought to myself maybe I overreacted. So I went back in because it was empty. She asked me if I wanted the usual. I replied only if you give me the stamps for the drinks I bought. She said no and started talking another language with the male staff they were both nodding their heads no and said that it's their policy not to tell customers about the points and they only give the card if they are asked for it, and that they're boss would not like it if she stamped my card for the drinks I bought. I took the card out of my pocket and tore it up. I replied I'm not asking for anything free. Never going back there. I just can't support nor recommend a place whose organizational culture is to treat customers poorly.
