IMO the best location , makes the drinks correctly with the desired amount of sugar. All drinks here are consistent, the one on Astor place, Chatham square, Chelsea and Tribeca make the milk tea boba with pudding and tapioca with either boba that sticks to the bottom or the tea tastes like sink water.. or they put too much milk. The peach, mango green tea with jelly is great too. Brown sugar one was just as good as tiger sugar. Not a big fan of their taro, limited seating

Least favorite Vivi location in Chinatown. The kids that work here couldn't care less to work. They just sit around on their phones and don't even have the best attitude in taking your order. Reluctantly go here because it's close by. The last time I went there was a hair in my drink. Won't go back here, rather go to the E Broadway Vivi.

This review is for the staff working there today at 1/15/24 at 12:25PM. I placed an order on DoorDash and received a message from both the app and text that it was ready. I walked in and the staff at the register (a women) rudely shouted "NOT READY. WAIT". There were no other customers at the store and she was just scrolling on her phone. Her attitude was 100% rude and not acceptable for a front line staff and the manager should do something about it.

Boba was super fresh and soft. We got the Japanese matcha slush. Just the right amount of matcha flavor and not too sweet!

2 drinks for $16 for my kids. It was so sweet that my kids didn't drink it and gave them a headache. Cashier can't be understood and not helpful. Do not order from here.

The place is not meant for people to sit and relax while enjoying their drinks and food but there are some high chairs which people usually use to wait. But the bubble milk tea drinks are especially delicious, have authentic flavours, and the perfect quantity of tapioca pearls. They have many interesting topping options as well.

Long before the bubble tea craze, Vivi on Bayard was one of the originals. Still standing after all these years, the shop is showing its age. And despite having patronized it for years, i just may have to shift to the newer, hipper boba shops. The matcha slush taste-wise was ok but was over blended and didn’t have the fine ice crystals that make a slush appealing.

Now you know why it’s one of Chinatown longest running bubble tea shops. As their bubble tea are just as good as the service. Had the-Boba milk tea 8/10-Passion fruit QQ 8/10Definitely recommend coming by and trying it out even if you never had bubble tea before.

I've tried a few drinks here and they were all pretty good. Nothing that I can't get elsewhere, but I appreciate their location and prices. The staff is friendly, and the drinks usually come out pretty quickly. I was also pleasantly surprised that they take credit card payments without a minimum charge. It's a grab and go place, since there is no seating. Overall it's a good place to grab a quick cold drink.

If Ten Rea is closed and you want a "cheap" option you may want to try this. I wouldn't tey it again. The traditional cold taro with bobba was super diluted even when I said I wanted it with little ice. My brother had the mango flavor and he told me "very disappointed, you made a bad choice of place". Hahaha- he was right but I had no option. Will not be back.

Nasty, milk tea isn’t even tea it’s just straight milk. Thai tea is decent but rest was wildly disappointing.
