I've grown attached to both this restaurant and the area it's in. The place is clean and the owners are very sweet, attentive and honest. All workers approached with genuine friendliness. Their dishes showcase excellent flavor! I'm already anticipating returning to try other items.

Went in here with a friend and ordered 2 beers, bill was $25 I paid with two $5s and a 1993 $20 bill. Bartender who looked like he's 14 years old starts freaking saying the bill is fake, I offer to pay with a $100 he says it's fake too. Also refuses to even take my two $5s bills, as if anyone would fake a $5 bill. Not my fault they don't know what cash looks like, or what security features to even look for. Rude staff, wouldn't recommend.

Belgian CBs are on tap. Slightly set back from the street, the entrance may cause some hesitation, but inside, you'll find a cozy and comfortable spot to drink and chat—an oasis away from the noise of the West 4th Street station area.

I popped in the other night for old times sake. Haven't been in like 15 years, so I had a Duval at the bar. So much has changed-no more 2nd floor and no more Belgian French Fries-they were so good and hit the spot while having a couple.
Anyway, it still is a low key very cool spot. This place is what the village is all about-I hope it hangs in there. Bartenders, as always, are super chill.

I like this place alot. It's very difficult to find a bar in the city that's not crowded, noisey and overall annoying. Especially in the village. This place is always chill and has a homey vibe that is perfect for meeting friends at when you want a place guaranteed to be able to actually hear someone you're with. The fact that it's hidden and has a huge beer garden is great too. Honestly don't know many places like this that exist in manhattan. Perfect place to escape Bro York.
