Wanpo Tea Shop, originating from Taiwan, is celebrated for its unique array of flavors that cater to both traditional and contemporary palates. This includes specialties like winter melon tea, which offers a refreshing sweetness, purple rice tea with its nutty, comforting undertones, and taro tea, known for its rich, creamy texture. Each flavor at Wanpo is crafted using authentic Taiwanese techniques and ingredients, making the shop a hotspot for tea lovers seeking to explore distinct and innovative tea experiences. Wanpo's commitment to authenticity and quality extends to its tea-serving practices, which are steeped in the ceremonial aspects of Taiwanese tea culture, creating a tranquil and engaging experience for tea enthusiasts. By blending traditional methods with modern twists, Wanpo Tea Shop has established itself as a destination for those looking to immerse themselves in the true spirit of Taiwanese tea. Plum green tea and purple rice taro were our favorite What we ordered: Purple Rice Taro Brown Sugar Matcha Latte Plum Green Tea Red Bean Jelly Milk

Tried Wanpo Tea for the first time recently and I would definitely consider it to be one of the best tea shops in NYC. The tea here is very fragrant and the boba is fresh. I tried the Mini Bubbles and really enjoyed the fun texture alongside my milk tea. The service was very quick, despite being quite busy when I came. The space is fairly small with a couple of bar stools off to the side, making it more of a grab and go spot. The aesthetic in here is cute and I would definitely come back to try some other milk teas on the menu!

Wow, initially wandered in to get a boba fix but was pleasantly surprised to be blown away!! The tea flavor was deep, rich and smoky and the boba was soft and chewy.

I've been here once and the space is fairly small. It's definitely a grab and go place. They have a register and a kiosk to order. I tried the starfruit drink, which was salty and what I expected. I also tried the soymilk milk tea and really enjoyed that. Some pretty solid drinks.

Stopped by here for some boba tea. Appears to be a new shop as I have never heard of them. The aesthetics is pretty nice for the interior. Orders are placed on one of the two kiosks they have setup.I ordered the large Oolong Tea Latte with boba ($7) hot, 50% sugar. This was pricy compared to the other boba shops, probably because they're not a chain. Regardless, I enjoyed the drink. Tasty and refreshing for a cold winter day.

Ordered iced Green Tea with Boba, compare to the same store in Hong Kong this tea wasn't as strong / flavorful as the same one in Hong Kong. The Boba wasn't as sweet/ good as well. It was a disappoint and hope they can improve.

Bubble Bliss! This bubble tea spot is a gem! The tiny boba pearls are a game-changer, adding a fun twist to every sip. The drinks are not just tasty but perfectly balanced in sweetness. If you're into delightful bubble tea experiences, this place is a must-try. Can't get enough of those tiny, flavorful surprises!
