Always a heartfelt show here at Webster Hall. I have been front row in at least 5 shows here. Beautiful venue and they specifically book a lot of people who are from NYC in my experience. These shows are really great (better than a lot of other venues in the city IMO) because the artist will often have their whole family and friends at the show and shout them out in the audience. Always a teary eye or two. It seems to be a special place that artists hold dear.
Also, lines are never too long and people who go are often very nice. I have gone to a show here a while back on a whim to a band i had never heard of and they became one of my favorite bands after that show (Melt). You are so close to the stage and I always get great pics. The last time I was there I ordered a Redbull for 6.5 dollars - not sure if that’s expensive or not for a venue, but i think it’s not bad. Come here!
Good spot to see a show. Wonder how many times a year they clean. The floor smells pretty foul. My shoes wreak bad.
Place sucks! Coat check robbed my friend’s wallet. Phone was stolen and security didn’t care. Security took another guys phone and kicked him out. Concert was ok- but the staff here just stealing everyone’s stuff.
Anyone going here for any type of alternative concert be warned. Went to a show last night, myself and at least 15 other people had our phones pickpocketed. At security we were all informed that it also happened the night before as well. The venue offered no help and no warnings that this was an issue. According to them it’s more common at the more active shows where people are jumping around. I’ve been going to concerts like this for over 15 years and I’ve never experienced theft nor have I seen theft of this level.
Maybe if there’s criminal activity where there’s over 20k in stolen items being taken a night, you should have better security on the floor.
Lovely big venue, always a good view
It was so hot that the band had to tell the venue to turn down the heat midway through the show. But by far the worst thing was the catastrophic coat check line which stretched up the stairs to the CEILING OF THE BUILDING ON THE FOURTH+ FLOOR. If you're going to charge for a coat check like this place does, you damn well better come up with a good system.
Great venue. Had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the happy times and vibrant atmosphere. I'll be going there again.
Went and saw Tv on the Radio on the Tuesday night. So bad! They sounded terrible and we couldn’t see shit. The venue oversold the event way too much. Honestly wondered if the venue could sell anymore tickets. People flowing out of the ballroom into the hallways trying to get a peak of what was happening.
Saw destroy boys here.... Great venue!
Great venue

No hassles. Good sound.
Spacious area nice displays
Went here for a concert. The tickets were free and it was fun. Make sure to get there early to have a better view since there are no seats. I’m short and I couldn’t see anything from above since I was behind people next to the railing. I was watching the TV 😭for the performance the entire time. It was extremely cold and my +1 got sick. Make sure to bring something warm to cover yourself. The people there are really weird tbh because they would get pissed if you took their spot if they moved but wouldn’t hesitate to take someone else’s spot if they moved. How are you pushing 30 and getting mad like a kindergartener!! It’s never that serious.
BUNT. ♥️
