Always a heartfelt show here at Webster Hall. I have been front row in at least 5 shows here. Beautiful venue and they specifically book a lot of people who are from NYC in my experience. These shows are really great (better than a lot of other venues in the city IMO) because the artist will often have their whole family and friends at the show and shout them out in the audience. Always a teary eye or two. It seems to be a special place that artists hold dear.

Went here for a concert. The tickets were free and it was fun. Make sure to get there early to have a better view since there are no seats. I’m short and I couldn’t see anything from above since I was behind people next to the railing. I was watching the TV 😭for the performance the entire time. It was extremely cold and my +1 got sick. Webster has cleaned up a lot since the days of the ritz. PA systems have improved and theirs has as well.
However last night at the Nada Surf show. There was no front lighting whatsoever. Like no follow spot apps. It seems a shortcoming. Other than that it's not bad and there are a couple of places where old people can sit down and rest their legs & hips.
