Fun hole in the wall bar! We stopped in pretty early on a weekday, some of the regulars were already in. The place was well lit and not too loud. Drinks were reasonably priced for the area. The bartender was attentive and
I did not try any of the drinks here, but this place has the best water I have ever had hands down. The ambiance is great as well, cozy couches, tvs for sports, and great music. Highly recommend for a chill bar.
I was staying a few doors away on my long awaited return to NYC. I stopped by this quiet neighborhood bar for a much appreciated nightcap after attending the opera up at Lincoln Center. It's a good spot to recharge and refresh, without any pretentiousness. If you are looking for an old fashioned neighborhood tavern, this is it.
