Absolutely terrible experience. Went in the hopes of watching an ncaa march madness game. The music was unbearably loud and the tv screen's sound wasn't even on! It's a sports bar ffs, can I watch the game? The tables were dirty and we sat for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, which didn't happen. We ended up leaving. Absolutely terrible.

On the way through from financial district to chinatown, we stopped by for a few drinks and a small snack. Our server Alex was a great person being. So kind and direct, we from Austria are not used to it!We loved our stay and it is a have to visit when we return to this beautiful city.

Great food, atmosphere, and staff. Colin is one of the best and this place will never disappoint whether you come for a quick bite for lunch or stay afterwards for Happy Hour.
To say I loved this bar would be an understatement. It is what it is and what it is is great. Could sink several pints here with ease. My only frustration following my visit is that those first brave pilgrims who came to America all those years ago will never know the paradise that they laid the groundwork for.

Instantly made welcomed when arriving. Even on a weekday afternoon at 3pm, it was very crowded. I would not want to imagine how crazy it gets on the weekends. Prices are reasonable if you take advantage of the daily specials they post on their website. TVs all around the bar to watch sports and background music was mix between pop music and 50's oldies tunes. Since the bar area was so crowded, I felt a little isolated sitting by myself at a table and not really able to socialize with anyone. Service was very friendly but a little slow due to how busy it was. I would definitely return though.

Is there more than 5 stars?!?! From the minute we stepped into the Whiskey Tavern we were instantly made to feel welcome. Thank you Ryan and Alex and Rachel. We returned not once but twice as we couldn't leave NYC without a quick pint with great hosts to say goodbye. See you next time
I almost never leave bars a 5 out of 5 stars review but let me tell you how amazing this bar was !!!!!! Our server Brian made sure we were always okay with drinks and food even while it was so crowded! It was honestly so impressive and this is coming from a bartender. My boyfriend brought me here while it was the Oscars night and the vibes were immaculate! They had amazing specials for it and they have even more amazing specials throughout the week. If you’re looking for a good time with good people you should come here! I will definitely be back and i will bring as many friends as possible! T
