It's still a great joint after almost 90 years. Food is extremely tasty and fresh as it's made as you order. Service is good, atmosphere. Let's say you're definitely not coming here for the decorations ?
It's been 20+ years since I was here last, still great food. Will definitely be back soon!

Simple Chinese food, quick service, well priced, and filling! Exactly what we were looking for. The sweet and sour pork was a bit more batter than we would prefer, but it was still tasty. Be aware this is cash only!

The resturant was fantastic, they get people in and out quick and the seating is cozy, if you don't like being in a basement, then it may not be the place for you. The service was great and they filled our drinks fast. The food came out quick and was fresh, definitely some of the best Chinese food i have ever had. Would definitely recommend to anyone near China town!

Exquisite Chinese food. The portions are very generous, the prices very reasonable, nice atmosphere.

The food was good for the price, not the best Chinese I've had, but the portions are huge and shareable. The egg rolls were massive and really good. This place also only takes cash.

They claim to be the same as the wo hop downstairs but the atmosphere and service were different. Food was good. Duck wonton was very bony and was gard to separate. The LoMein had a lot of soy sauce already in it. Why are there still cash only restaurants in 2024?

We came here for the good reviews but left disappointed - the food quality was so poor that one of us left their plate uneaten even though she was hungry. Water tasted of chlorine, low quality ingredients, gooey sauce. Efficient service and affordable prices, but unfortunately not recommended for the food.

Best food in chinatown. Best thing is that it doesnt give me food poisoning and its sanitary. The food here was very tasty and very quick. Every time i visit New York City i beg my family to eat here. Completely recommend.

Very good service, really fun atmosphere. Food disappointing. It looks really good on the plate but... It's just pretty good. I had eggplant and broccoli in black bean sauce, my partner had a Cantonese seafood plate on fried noodles. His looked good (he didn't offer me any!). Eggroll was decent.
