I love xian and I always will. I usually get the lamb dumplings and they are always amazing. The last time I went they were a little smaller and they were not as meaty and they also didn't have enough black vinegar but they were still very good. It's pretty much the best place around and we're so lucky that they have a location in that part of town.

Every time I visit NYC, I have to stop by Xi’an Famous Foods and order the spicy cumin lamb hand-pulled noodles. The flavors are incredible. Its bold, spicy, and so addictive! It has the perfect balance of heat and seasoning, and it never disappoints. I highly recommend it!

I stopped by since I was shopping at a store across the street. The Mount Qi Pork Belly Hand-Ripped Noodles was prepared very quickly after I ordered on the kiosk. Personally thought the can of coke was a little overpriced, but very easy to get out of the fridge. There is seating in the back and a counter to stand and eat against. However, seating is super limited and you might have to be forward and ask a table if you're able to sit down with them if there are empty chairs and you're tired. Overall, enjoyed my food but kinda surprised that there weren't more tables in the back. The regular spicy wasn't super spicy, I would say chili oil spicy and you'll need a drink to wash it down.

Restaurant was great. Staff was quick and efficient with giving out the food. Extremely tasty and worth the price(12 bucks for a bowl including tax). Nice seating area with benches and tables right outside next to the place. Grab n go lunch

Got a number 1. I would've given 5* if there was more meat. It's like a halal cart version of hand pulled noodles. Kind of close to something more real but lacking a bit for some reason. The location to have seating in the back, a clean bathroom, kind staff, and good vibes. But for $15, I'm probably being way too bitchy 😂

Good spicy noodles with pork and veggies, Xian style.
Today I ordered my usual N4 pork, they gave me beef by mistake. The worst part is 90% of the beef are beef shank and they are not even chewable.

Xian Famous Foods is a must go to restaurant whenever we visit NYC. We had spicy cumin beef hand-ripped noodles, spicy cumin lamb and pork hand-ripped noodles in soup, and spicy/sour spinach dumplings.
The food is tasty, spicy, extremely flavorsome, and reasonably priced.
This is a limited seating restaurant where you order first and pick up at the front counter when ready. You can pay at the counter or on two freestanding touch screen tablets at the front waiting area.

Food is good as always but I would avoid this location there’s like 2 tables you will have to stand to eat. They should add some tall and narrow bar stools and it could create a lot more seating. I understand there’s limitations of space.

A little over $14 for this huge and meaty platter of cumin lamb noodles. Very flavorful and I love the taste that the celery and green onions added. Regular spice was pretty spicy for me so I would get less spice next time but my partner who loves spice really liked that level and probably could have gone even spicier.

I like Xian a lot. I just had the flushing location in tangram mall and would have rated that 5 stars. I used to go to the east village location on st marks. This location has been uneven on each of my last few visits. Ordered the N2 (tingly beef) extra spicy. Noodles were overcooked which is the best part of the dish.
