About Lantern's Keep

Lantern's Keep is a cozy and atmospheric bar located in a touristy area of New York City. The dark interiors and speakeasy-style decor create a charming ambiance, making it a popular spot for locals and office workers. The entrance features big unmarked blue doors, adding to the nostalgic feel. The drinks are praised, with a great cocktail selection, including bespoke cocktails like variations of an old fashioned/vieux carre. The food is described as delicious, featuring homemade onion dip, charcuterie, and pigs in blankets. While some mention the food as just okay, the attentive service and comfortable setting enhance the experience. The small size means it can fill up quickly, but overall, Lantern's Keep offers a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Not with customers, but among themselves. I rarely recall seeing a collection of employees who...read full review

Classy. Good location. Romantic atmosphere. Been here like 50 times and always good vibes.

Located in the Iroquois Hotel, this intimate speakeasy offers a cozy, old-world ambiance. With velvet seating, dim lighting, and a refined yet relaxed vibe, it’s the perfect spot for a special evening. The cocktails are exceptional, particularly the Boulevardier and their seasonal creations, which were perfectly balanced. We shared several small plates that were delicious, and the bartenders were knowledgeable and engaging. The total cost came to around $45 per person. I highly...read full review
