I’ve visited Yakitori Taisho twice now, but this is the first time I’m sharing a review. This latest visit was unforgettable, with the star dishes being the salmon cream yakisoba and Okaka Onigiri. The creamy, savory yakisoba was a rich delight, and the Onigiri had that perfect balance of salty and umami that left me wanting more.

The yakitori selection was fantastic, as always, with each skewer bringing its own unique flavor and texture. We had the Sunazuri...
I love this place. I’ve been to Japan before, and there are elements of this place that reminds me of an Izakaya located directly in Japan. The staff are friendly and speak Japanese, whether they are Japanese or not. And the food is really good. Known mainly for their Yakitori, Taisho also has an extensive list of other dishes on the menu that deserve some love and attention from customers as well. This is one of my go-to spots when I’m in the area…
I ordered two dishes, one was pork chop curry rice and the other was kimchi pot: the curry was not the stereotypical Japanese curry, it was more like a bit of curry in the meat sauce, so-so; the kimchi pot, to be honest, I Just boil a pot of water at home, put some kimchi in it, and you can enjoy the same taste as in this store.
