The local gem in the area. After passing by all the popular chain of coffe shops. I heard about this spot and of course the chocolate chip walnut cookie. I normally don't go for those but this one is a great find. It's worth the money you paid for. I can't stand people who whine about the price. It's made by scratch and doesn't have all the crap like oreos do.... The service is a hit or miss, but seriously but let that bother you remember some New Yorkers...
Unfortunately, I didn’t find any trace of espresso in my latte—just warm milk with a foam. It tasted more like steamed milk than a proper coffee drink, which was really disappointing. For a place that serves espresso-based drinks, I expected better quality and balance. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but I wouldn’t rush back based on this experience alone.
In NYC, it’s easy to find good coffee, extremely easy to find shit coffee, but really hard to come across great coffee. Yanni’s is the latter. I got a simple iced vanilla latte and it was 10/10.
I mean, if you walk into a coffeeshop and the guy behind the counter has great hair, is wearing a Buc-ee’s t-shirt and has a whole conversation with you without saying a word while vibing to the music, you know they’re serious about their coffee lmao.
