Super Yummy! Try the Duck Noodle Soup! And Great Service!
Went here for a friend's birthday and it was a terrible experience. We had to pour our own drinks (the cups didn't look too clean) and a member of our party was told to order something else because what he actually wanted would "take too long to cook" Waiter aggressively pressured him into ordering something else.Silverware was bent and not to clean looking. Food was decent but a little pricey.Needless to say, our server received no tip and he became aggressive and followed us outside. I don't tip for poor service, especially when you're telling someone to order something they don't want because your kitchen staff is too lazy to cook it.Won't be dining here again. I advice others to keep their distance as well.
Bought the roast duck and roast pork. Meat is delicious and the roast duck is nice and flavorful! If you want to buy some meat to go, here is the place!
Small place but exquisite food. I will back ???
Decent duck but really enjoyed the congee. A huge portion for an affordable price too
It's ok for general Cantonese food, but there are plenty of other options around in the neighborhood. Service is standard for Chinatown and prices are ok (but not incredible). In short: standard, solid offering but nothing amazing.
I will give them no star if they allow me. Went there with my friends because the other place that I wanted to go to was packed. There's really nothing special about this place. We ordered the roast pig, roast duck, and crab. We weren't planning to order the crab at first but the waiter was so pushing and basically focus it on us. When we got our food, the roast pig and roast duck are very general. The crab on the other is not good at all, it was burned and not flavor at all. We're like fine it's not like we ever going to go back there again, but we got a surprise when we got the bill, they charged us 58 dollars for the crab...like are you kidding me, with 58 dollars I can buy a couple of dozens of crabs.DO NOT GO HERE, ITS A SCAM! THE WAITER IS VERY PUSHY, MAKE YOU ORDER MORE FOODS AND PUTTING RANDOM PRICES ON YOUR BILL!
For a place that is supposed to be famous for congee, they do not have fresh and crunchy Chinese donut sticks that goes with all the congee. I was served a soggy left over Chinese donut sticks. C'mon man, get a chef!
Been coming to this place for years, the food is always good.
The food was pretty good, but the service could be improved. The server moved our table while we were eating as they had to accommodate a larger group next to us.
Restaurantji Recommends
WARNING!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. Here is why. We were on vacation visiting New York. Yee Li Restaurant appeared very authentic with brilliant photos of food and below average prices on their outside menu. We excitedly walked in. We waited quite a while to to be seated. There were multiple empty tables. The first thing that we noticed was that the menu prices were quite a bit higher than the prices listed outside.
BEWARE THIS RESTAURANT IS A SCAM! The waiter pushes different foods on you. The wait times are long. The food is very fatty and inedible.
Verg good. Dependable. Taste just right. Not overwhelming. Their bbg selection is excellent. Also very good value. Highly recommended. Note: decor and ambiance is typical as in most of the restuarants in the area.
Arguably some of the best duck in the area ! Love it . Juicy yet crispy PERFECTLY seasoned Ok prices
Good chinese food. Highly reccomend their pork dishes. Great value. The fish, noodles, and chicken dishes were all good and tasted better than I expected. They were really fast at taking orders and getting the food out. The restrooms are also nice.
