Great food, but horrid customer service. They keep trying to pack people side by side. It's not ok during pandemic

I don't often get to the city because I work close to home in Brooklyn, but my husband knows I love ramen so he looks for places to bring me home ramen! I love Yokoya! It's gotta be my favorite take home ramen (never sat down to eat it) and I really enjoy both the miso and shoyu bowls. The soup is hearty and the flavor is so good! My mouth is watering as I think of how good it is. I imagine it would be even better in person and fresh. My husband gets them so often for me that they know him haha. It's ALWAYS a welcome and wonderful surprise to come home and smell this ramen being warmed up for me :) What a treat! Can't wait to get my next bowl! Yum!

My boyfriend and I came here and we tried both the Tsukemen and the Shoyu Ramen. The ramen was pretty well made in both cases, though I preferred the Tsukemen just a bit more because it was a little more flavorful. The noodles in the tsukemen were well made, with a nice chewy texture and pleasant overall taste, but the broth is really what brought out the greatness of the dish. Flavorful and rich it really goes well with the chewier ramen, blending nicely in your mouth. The shoyu ramen was a bit more mediocre, being more standard fare of what you'd get at other ramen places in the city, but still pretty decent.

Everything on Yokoya's menu is amazing. The Miso tonkotsu is now my favorite ramen in the city (I eat ramen once a week so that's a big deal!). Also, their nanban chicken and pork boa buns are addicting and delicious. It's unfortunate that seamless is awful at their delivery service and have canceled our deliveries twice. The Yokoya team had to go above and beyond to deliver our order themselves. Very much appreciated !!

Super lovely staff and as I continue my search for the tastiest vegetarian ramen (having stopped eating meat a year ago) this does very well on the list. Would definitely go back and would recommend.

Vibing to some 90s hip-hop and RnB, this Ramen shop nails the cozy NY atmosphere.

Three stars means good for me. Four is excellent and five is really rare. Yokoya is a clean, cozy Japanese tapas/ramen shop with great friendly service at a great location. In front of the M15 bus S. stop and next to the F line station. For me The Pork bao has to be an acquired taste and the ramen broth was too salty (it was soy based broth). However the noodles, poached egg and pork belly were all perfectly cooked for my taste. I also noticed everyone else in the place, it was crowded not packed, including a large group of Japanese diners were all seemingly enjoying themselves and the food.

Surely a spot worth visiting, the food is awesome and well prepared, the rates are fair and it is consistently clean here. Kudos.

Loved the shrimp bin, and ramen was good. Kids had a great time and the service was super nice at this tiny LES estblishment. Love to go back.
