Even though it poured the night, we dinned at Meat & Bread. My twin son's recommended this spot, and I'm glad they did. We were a party of 5, everyone couldn't be more happy with the selections from our dinner to the desserts. Everything was cooked to perfection. I look forward to going back when I return to NY. My friends and I are still talking about how good the food was ??
Great halal option in the city! I heard amazing things so I was excited to check it out. My brother and I decided to get a few dishes and share, which was perfect because we were able to try a few different items. Chimichurri steak sandwich: 8/10. The meat itself was tender for the most part, but I felt it could have used a bit more flavor. Maybe a spicy sauce or something to really elevate the flavor would have gone a long way, especially for a steak sandwich which can get dry...read full review

I’m not easily impressed by restaurant food, but I really like this place. My daughter said the fried chicken was excellent and I thought the vegetarian options were flavorful and pleasantly atypical. Super friendly service, Northeast prices yes, but fair — especially for the neighborhood. Nice atmosphere with old Bollywood films silently playing on a projector screen. Also, great music.
