Quality Fish at a very solid price point!!
Toka Chef Kitchen is seriously a hidden gem in NYC. The price is hella good for the quality and experience you get — additional pieces for Toro/wagyu r all $1 extra.
Big shoutout to Julia, who made the whole experience even better. Her service was warm, attentive, and just genuinely welcoming. You can tell she really cares.
And her self-made yuzu sake? Absolutely fire. Super refreshing, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of the highlights of the night.

Very sweet staff! They make their own sake and yuzu sake. Each piece has a generous amount of fish, and they put creative toppings as well. The restaurant is also super spacious, so you’re not crammed up elbow to elbow at the sushi bar unlike at other omakase places

Toka Chef Kitchen is a hidden gem that offers delicious sushi and an amazing dining experience. The food is fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions, catering to various dietary needs. The attentive and friendly staff ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for sushi enthusiasts. Guests have praised the AYCE (all-you-can-eat) menu, noting that the selection is pretty good, with highlights like sea bream, toro, and hand rolls. The yuzu sake is particularly tasty, although the wagyu was a bit underwhelming. The restaurant provides a unique experience, as it operates as a no-tipping establishment, with the option to tip at the end if desired.
