Hands -down the best place for coffee lovers in the area. I ordered Cafe Latte and almond Croissant based on recommendation from Jessica. Writing this review as I am drinking the coffee and eating croissant here. I highly recommend. Enjoy

Really good Australian style coffee

I was so happy to have Zelmas as good addition to our neighborhood. I am a very frequent customer. The other day I went in and saw a crappy piece of paper with sharpie type that said 'price increase' written on it stuck with tape on the menu. Not only did it look cheap and nasty, it did not display any new prices. I was charged $5.17 for a cup of tea!!
Pure insanity. That's more than Starbucks!!! I asked if they were joking and they pointed to the crappy little nasty sign on the board. I will never go there again. Highway robbery. I feel embarrassed for them.

If you said latte to go, then they give you some pre-made in front of your face, no use of espresso machine, no milk frothing no machine noise at all. Probably they think either the consumer doesn’t know what is a latte, or people won’t bother to open the cap to take a look. Never fool your customers.

I come here all the time! The decor and seating makes it feel so cozy, there's a bathroom, nice chill music that's perfect to work or read to, and the baristas are friendly too! I love the dulce de leche latte and croissants.

They charge 4% fee for using credit card. There are multiple signs saying you can only stay for an hour which just feels they don’t want you there. Service is blah.

Terrible customer service. They overcharged you at cash register. They charge a dollar for oat milk. Total rip-off. They charge you an extra fee to use a credit card. But they don't tell you that. They just do it. Also the staff seems like they have no interest in you the customer. They are just doing their job and couldn't care less. That's typical NYC customer service.

I love this cafe, ive met some great people here.

Things to know is the food is limited. Just pastries and yogurt really. If you are looking to read a book, work in a laptop and have a coffee. This is a cute vibe. The coffee bean blend is actually good but all the baristas dont know too much about milk frothing. They’ve burnt every coffee I’ve had. I come back because of the vibe, but I have to go other places in the neighborhood when I want a consistently good coffee, not burnt.

Ordered coffee with extra oat milk, but this is one of the idiot places that insists on steaming the milk in your coffee, which makes it nuclear hot, undrinkable for 15 minutes. After asking them not to steam the milk they did not use the steamed milk, instead filled the cup with more coffee, not oat milk.
