It was the worst coffee I've had in a long time. I've been here a few times before and I liked it so I brought my guest too. We got regular coffee and it tasted very bad. Probably stale coffee from the morning. I then handed it back and asked for an americano. This one was also very bad and looked like it had been mixed with water and milk. It tasted like water, but much worse. Normally I don't comment much, but they need to see this comment and change something. I've never encountered anything this bad in any of my previous visits. I drank very delicious coffee. I'm so sorry it was a waste of time and money. Also, even though I asked for separate milk with the coffee 4 times, they took the coffee back and added it themselves. I don't think I will ever come again.

I hate to do this to a relatively affordable local business. I just got a cup of coffee and a pastry from Zelma's and the counter person put her hands (I saw her touch her face several times while making my drink) on the rim of my coffee cup and touch my waffle with her fingers. This is disgusting. I've worked in service for 15 years and these behaviors are big NO NOs. Train your employees. Please.

The coffee here is amazing! I always drink it black so can get a real taste of the roast, Zelma’s never disappoints. The ambience is cozy and relaxed, I love that they offer Wi-Fi and encourage people to work or read while there. Will definitely continue to come back :)

I went in fotr the first time because it looked like a charming neighborhood cafe. There was a small menu on a stand on the counter. I ordered a blueberry muffin for $3.25. They rang it up as $4.67. I questioned it and the manager(?) said "we changed our prices." This is always very annoying but it was worse because i said "You have to change the prices on the menu" and she responded "You can go somewhere else." (!) I said " whats the point of posting prices if theyre wrong?" She got very huffy, like it was ME who was wrong. Finally i said, "You can change it. Its not hard," and turned to walk out. She grudgingly swiped the menu off the counter. Whether she uldated the prices i dont know.
Today's service at my usual coffee spot was disappointing. Despite ordering a latte, the new staff gave me an iced americano and charged me for a latte. When I pointed out the mistake, there was no apology, and the staff insisted I ordered the iced americano, responding with a scoff. It was an uncomfortable and disrespectful experience.

Pleasant atmosphere, very pleasant service, nice coffee. I came here after my morning run (OK, I actually walk in the morning, but that makes me sound like I'm geriatric) Ann really needed a caffeine fix. I decided to come to Zelma's after passing by for a while; I am glad I came in.They were out of drip coffee, so they made me an Americano. The coffee was very good, proportions of coffee to water was evidence that the person behind the counter knew how to do coffee correctly. The counter staff was very friendly and did not seem frazzled even though they were finally getting a breather after the morning rush, which is when I came in.The outdoor seating area is small, but the folding table was pretty stable, and the folding chairs were fairly comfortable. Quite a surprise.Definitely another go-to place on my neighborhood list.

Really nice little spot for coffee! Had a mocha and the guy there made it with all the love he could give it. He was alone at the time so it took him a bit but it was worth the wait!
