My worst restaurant experience in New York.
Went to Zuma to celebrate my birthday.
Got seated by the sushi counter — zero vibe, just kitchen sounds instead of music. It felt more like a rushed dinner shift than a fancy venue.
Asked to move — was told everything was “reserved” (even though there were empty tables).
Asked if they could at least put a candle or a happy birthday sign on the dessert — nothing. Completely ignored.
