Their hours say 11-8, I called at 2, a man answered and said they don’t open until 3. I called at 3, 3:20, and nobody picked up. I showed up there @3:30, the sign still says closed but there is a server in the building. I was given the runaround and still wasn’t able to get food. Very disappointed with my first interaction. Transparency cost nothing.

What a great place for Latin food! My first time ordering from here and everything was great! Hefty portions, lots of flavor, & good prices. Rice & beans, beef empanadas, pernil, and breaded Country Sweet Wings - all were excellent! Owners were very friendly & informative about the food choices. I’ll definitely be going back.

Que Rico is one of the cleanest restaurants I have been in. The empanadas are amazing. I can't wait to try Nena's wings, pernil, street corn and Mac and cheese! The desserts sound amazing too!

I'm very picky when it comes to chicken wings. These wings were amazing. I got the Jamaican jerk wings this evening. They were crispy and the spice and seasoning were spot on. I mean wow what a perfect sauce. This is my new favorite wing spot. Best wings in Newark by far. I can't wait to try the next flavor. The couple who own this restaurant are very friendly and very hospitable. The service has been excellent every time me and my wife have ordered food there. I'm very impressed. The portions are generous and don't leave you feeling hungry. It's real homemade delicious food. I feel like this establishment is a hidden gem in Newark. So far we have tried the epeinadas, the awesome mac and cheese, wings and pineapple bbq chicken. Every meal has been comforting and made with care. Give them a try and you won't regret it. I would love to see this business succeed and become a staple of Newark. The best and most unique place in town by far. Thank you for your amazing service.
