“We ordered from Ling Ling in Newark tonight and I'm so glad we did! The food was excellent! Easily the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. We dug in so fast that I forgot to take pictures, but it was so fresh and looked as good as it tasted. They were extremely busy, and the 3 people in the kitchen and the person at the counter were working so hard to get orders out as fast as possible. They somehow managed to do all of that without sacrificing quality or accuracy. Their online ordering system went down, which caused some confusion, and I'm sure that resulted in some cranky customers. All I can say is that people need to try a little kindness and compassion. A team of 4 people dealt with all of that on a super busy Friday night and STILL produced excellent food! You all did a fantastic job, and we are grateful to have Ling Ling in our community. “Great restaurant in the middle of Newark. This was our first visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior is split into a main dining room in back and bar in front with the kitchen in between. My fish sandwich was very good, on a nice soft bun with lettuce, tomatoes and raw onions. The better half's julienne salad was big enough for two, with more toppings than lettuce. Their Italian Wedding Soup was tasty, but a bit too salty for her taste. The Shrimp Bisque was delicious.Parking: Large parking lot on the side of the building.“
