I had an issue with an order that was delivered to me via DoorDash. I had a simple question and wanted to speak to someone directly from the restaurant and cannot get thru; just an automated message and a customer service person who is clearly reading from a script. All I wanted to know is if the order was in a sealed bag when it left the store. Basic simple question. At 7:30 PM on a Sunday night, when they are open until 10 PM, the workers in this chipotle told me “the line is closed.” When I asked for clarification, they said “online orders only but it will be a minute.” I can’t imagine the store manager or owners being pleased with their workers turning people away during dinner time.
