Hayfields Cafe & Florist Reviews
Love this place! What a great set up, great coffee, food and management.

I ordered for a client along with flowers from Amy's florist. I needed a simple Birthday gift to my 75-year-old client. Amy put together a beautiful bouquet and coordinated with the café to send some baked goods and soup along with the flowers. My client was extremely happy. Amy delivered within the timeframe she had communicated. She was very helpful. It was a bonus to have the café With fresh prepared food. I highly recommend them.

Hayfields Cafe & Florist is a charming restaurant and florist in one, providing a quiet and pleasant environment for both dining in and takeout. It features seating areas indoors and outdoors, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a relaxed setting. The coffee is well-liked, especially the cortado, which stands out among the options. During breakfast hours, visitors can explore a varied menu while enjoying some people-watching. The location also showcases products from local artists and offers a selection of beautiful flowers.
The outdoor area is inviting, with shaded picnic tables that enhance the experience. Occasionally, live music can be enjoyed, such as "Three Limes and a Coconut." Several vendors sell various goods, including handmade items like press-on nails. On select days, Hayfields has promotions such as buy-one-get-one-free sodas, lemonade, wine, and beer, alongside an array of fresh baked items, tacos, salads, and sandwiches. It is a nice spot to unwind for a couple of hours, with ample free parking available.
Recent reviews indicate that changes have occurred since new ownership took over, with some guests feeling it is not as charming as before and that the food quality has declined. One visitor mentioned a black bean and kale wrap that contained undercooked sweet potatoes, while another noted that the veggie tacos had hard, underseasoned sweet potatoes, although the aioli was appreciated. The chai latte was criticized for being served with too much ice, and a friend received a regular latte instead of chai. While some feel the prices are high for the food and drinks offered, the setting remains beautiful and well-decorated, with fresh grapes growing on-site adding a delightful element. Despite some issues, the atmosphere and menu continue to draw customers, who appreciate the quality of baked goods and items like the bagel and lox.
