“We were in Syracuse for a couple nights up from Horseheads and decided to meet up with a couple friends who live in the area. We decided to to give Hafners a try and very happy we did so. We sat in the bar area which was absolutely packed for the SU game. Jessica was our waitress and she nothing short of amazing. We let her know we just wanted to have some drinks and would probably order food in a while due to the fact we were visiting with each other and just wanted to hang out. She kept our drinks full the entire time, and they came super fast even with how packed the house was. We ordered food , burger, some wings, and these mozzarella flats (they had to be made in house, they were not a normal mozzarella stick, and they were AMAZING). Just wanted to say thank you again to Jessica for really making our experience at Hafners a great one. The restaurant definitely runs like a well oiled machine. Will be back again.“

We're definitely stopping here again when in town.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs at all and the bathrooms are easily accessible for anyone with a chair, cane, or walker.“

“This place is truly a gem in the Syracuse area. We recently had a birthday party here and it was perfect. The owner, Pete, couldn’t be nicer and was incredibly accommodating. He wanted to make sure we had the perfect day and it was nothing shy of just that! I very strongly recommend the clipper tavern for a causal happy hour, a place to watch SU sports, a place to throw a party, and any/everything in between!!“
