We were told to take your time, but we were rushed out after an hour and a half. Looks. Apologies. The whole nine. I think the opener should be “Welcome to Birdie Bar as we are happy to have and serve you. Please note, that due to space restrictions, as party of two you have a one hour and 30 minute time limit for your meal.”

So glad we returned for a pre theatre meal. We had gone after it opened and thought then that the Birdie Bar didn't know what it wanted to be - now we feel the menu, service, even the glassware has struck the right balance. We'll be back.

The food was spot on, the service was great. It was a but loud but bearable.

If you haven't been to Birdie Bar, all I can say is you are missing out. The Uptown Girl cocktail was an incredible start to the night. Off the hook short rib nachos, buffalo chicken spring rolls perfectly paired with crumbled blue cheese did not disappoint, best tuna tartar I have ever had, the sticky ribs were to die for and the French Dip needs no introduction. Do not leave without trying the light olive oil cake with fresh whip cream and the homemade s'mores. Staff was doting, knowledgable and engaging. The restaurant catered to my son's allergies and we cannot wait to go back!!

I was a bit disappointed. Burger was just okay. Loaded baked potato (at $14!) was very disappointing. My desert cocktail, a chocolate martini was sloppy and amateurish. We love Robke's (same owner) where the food and drinks are consistently great. Oh well. This was a second and last time at Birdies.

You have to ask for everything. A spoon to stir the coffee. Salt and pepper. Ice in your water. It's luck of the draw as far as whether or not the food is properly cooked. If everything goes well, the food is pretty good and the decor is nice, but it has a long way to go to reach Robkes.

We absolutely loved everything about this place. The ambiance - great pictures of famous people everywhere- to the waitstaff and the food has me coming back for more real soon! Thumbs up to The Birdie Bar - PS The only suggestion would be to put a flag that says Birdie Bar in the front to make it easier to find ?

One of the best meals I've ever had. My fiancé and I went and got the og wings and sticky ribs which were absolutely delicious!! For our entree we got strip steak and linguine with clams. Everything was great!

There is no place like Birdie!! We enjoy the food and the drinks and the ambiance, but the best part is how we get treated ! Antonio ( the greatest chef) is always popping out to say hi and making sure everybody is happy !! Last night was an early celebration for my birthday ! I only wanted to be at Birdie Bar !!

After a disappointing experience at a nearby restaurant up the road (rhymes with Marlo), I remembered hearing about Birdie Bar on Instagram. I was excited to try it, enticed by the fantastic food and friendly staff showcased online. Walking into the sound of my favorite song playing and Amy's warm welcome along with the freedom to choose our table turned our night around. Meeting Glenn, our server, added to the positive vibe. The onion soup.....Holy Crostini!, 100% exceeded our expectations. I personally will never be able to enjoy a regular ol' french onion soup again. Next, we had their Famous French Dip, paired with hand-cut potato chips reminiscent of my father-in-law's kitchen, a surge of delightful memories embraced us. Sooooo Amazing! This visit truly rejuvenated our evening. We're eagerly anticipating our return to enjoy their Happy Hour & to visit their sister location, Robkes!

One of the best brunches I have had out in a long time. The service and food was excellent. We had the Huevos Ranchero, Cali Style Omelet and Blueberry Pancakes. Looking forward to our next visit.

Went out for a girls night for my friends first experience at Birdie Bar and we had a poor experience. When we arrived for our reservation we got told to buy a drink while we waited for our reservation which took us 15-20 minutes to get a bartenders attention to get a drink by the time we ordered the drinks our table was ready. We went to our table and placed our order for food right away and about 45 minutes to an hour later still no food and on our second round of drinks the waitress told us there was a miscommunication for our food and would be out soon (ordered only two entrees). We finally received our meals and then as we were only half way done the staff was already asking if we were finished and if boxes were needed. Service was delayed and then we were was rushed to finish our meal.

Server was outstanding. Wait time for meal was too long.(35 mins.) ordered. They asked what temperature i wanted -medium rare—received well done-second was uncooked 1/4” from bone. My wife’s ribs were not.good eitherrWheelchair accessibility: On the outside of properly equipped. The inside is very dim making it hard to see. Foranyone.using any any type of walking assistance device, especially.a wheel chair, will have to climb a dimly lit, narrow set of stairs to main dining room. They will need help.

We arrived at Birdie Bar on a Saturday night with no reservation and the place was packed. The two kind hostesses in the front would arrange to get us a table for two as we stood near the entrance, but should the bar become available, our party of two would grab those spots first. Sure enough, space opens up at the bar and we excitedly make our way to sit down, to which the bartender swoops in to say the seats are taken. Wait, so are there reservations at the bar? He says absolutely not, but the people who were waiting for the bar were there before us and we couldn't sit there. I ask him where the so-called patrons were, to which he said they should be arriving any minute. Now we are in this scene of a packed bar, held up in front of two empty seats in a familiar scenario of people attempting to grab the seats in a bar where it would usually be ludicrous to "hold seating" for people who are nowhere to be found. The hostesses are in awe and the other patrons were looking around confused, one of whom eventually sat down anyway. When we were escorted to table seating (not sure why we stayed), the manager came and apologized for our "feeling slighted" despite outlining that bar seating is absolutely first come first serve. I had to SPELL OUT that two LATINAS, one of whom is darker skinned, in an obviously predominantly white establishment, not being sat at a bar for WHATEVER EXCUSE is BAD OPTICS so I wouldn't say racist. The bartender sent some drinks which we sent back, and the manager, with his dumb sweater and Connecticut trust fund haircut kept apologizing and sent tequila shots. Not on Black History Month and not in 2024. Shame on y'all.

The atmosphere was appealing. The service was mediocre, but the most stood out negative was the food. I tried the fried rice/sesame chicken dish. It was bland NO taste except a dish filled with salt, and I do mean an abundance of SALT. I also tried the Mac n cheese as a side, again tasteless. I also went back another day for lunch because I really wanted to like this restaurant for some reason. I tried the lunch chicken sandwich with Cole slaw. It was awful. Basically, chicken in dounced oil on bread. BLAND. please, birdie bar, consider a new chef asap.
