Haven’t been here in a while and am so happy I went today! The updates to the menu and coffee are 👌🏻 They use Flux Coffee (IYKYK) so I already knew I in good hands. I had the creme brûlée latte today and it was exactly what I was craving. I’ll be back for a Matcha latte later this week, my favorite and it looks like they make a great one. I also have to mention: as a mom of a little one, it’s hard to find stroller accessible places in town where you not only can conveniently roll right in but you fit/don’t feel like you’re in others way (also IYKYK). There is so much room here and the atmosphere is inviting. The service is also 10/10. Highly recommend!

Great little place. If I could give 10 stars for service I would. They were amazing and extremely pleasant. There is really nothing better than enjoying a nice latte down in Northport village. Had a lunch time business meeting and it worked out perfectly. Strongly suggest.

If you're looking for a place to work remote this cafe is the spot! Worked here 2 full days, had multiple things on the menu. Coffee was great. Reliable Wifi, accessible plugs, and quiet enough to take calls. Owners were in both days and they were awesome. Highly recommend!

Cafe Portofino is the hidden gem of a coffee shop I have been waiting for - now it's finally shining under new ownership!
I stopped in recently and was blown away. And now I'm there a few times a week. The coffee and espresso are legit --on par with some of the best third-wave shops in NYC. Rich, smooth, perfectly brewed. You can tell they're serious about quality. The beans they use are from one of the best shops on Long Island, Flux Coffee in Farmingdale.
The vibe here is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Great for meeting a friend, working, or just want to escape life for a bit. Fast Wi-Fi, plenty of comfortable seating, and a great selection of snacks that go way beyond your average café fare.
What makes it even better is how much they clearly care about the local community. The staff is friendly and attentive, and there's a real neighborhood feel here - it feels like community.
If you haven't been since the change in ownership, GO! Cafe Portofino is doing everything right.

Start your walk through Northport with this gem. It’s across from Engeman theater. The coffee is delicious, the treats are tasty and gorgeous. Even have a moist and yummy gluten free muffin. They even have live music on the weekend. Don’t miss out on this jewel in Northport village!
