“The food was decent. I had the overstuffed Beef Gyro. In no way was it overstuffed. It was kind of understuffed. I counted 3 pieces of meat. They really should change the name. It did taste good even though it could have used more meat. I usually can't finish a Gyro but had no problem with this one. It was a snack not a meal. My friend had an omlet that was tasty but with the chages in the sides she made it was $18. If you change things I would ask what they charge. Overall a decent dinner. We had great service.“

“One of my favorite diners on LI and the best in Plainview. Never have been disappointed with any order. Omelettes, paninis, and burgers have all been amazing and are a good portion size. The waiters and staff are always very friendly and welcoming.“

My eggs were those perfectly mixed diner slabs. The place was nearly deserted, so the service was doting. Can't speak to what it would be like during peak hours.I was a bit hot because they weren't running AC, but I tend to run a bit hot anyway.Diners tend to be a dime a dozen, and it's a maddening waste of calories when their bog standard fare doesn't live up to the basic expectations we assign to them.By that standard, Golden Coach, in passing the minimum bar of steak and egg quality and having excellent service in an otherwise vacant restaurant, did not disappoint.Given all my extenuating circumstances and uninteresting order, though, I'd read other reviews before making your call.“
“Our waitress was so patient and was just a doll. We couldn't decide what to order for a bit but she kept coming back to check. I had the Reuben and it was absolutely delicious. It was served open faced and I can only eat about half. Took the rest home for another meal! The french fries were big steak fries and they were cooked to perfection! We accidentally spilled the whole glass of water on the table and they had no issues cleaning it up! Extremely pleased with the service and the food at this diner! I would highly recommend!“
