I go to visit relatives in Northport a couple of times a year. I can't believe that I haven't been to this place before! I've driven by and noticed it but it kind of blends in.

I ordered 3 sandwiches (Rosa, Amore and Porchetta). I was a little concerned that the sandwiches might be on the small side, based on the images on the website. Well, let me tell you, these sandwiches are huge. One sandwich could be lunch and dinner (one half each meal) for a majority of people.

And the meatballs are tender with a delicious tangy marinara. These meatballs are better than Maroni down the street and much less expensive.

Sandwiches were so good, I picked up another for the beach the next day (La Nonna meatball sandwich). It was fantastic but did not come with any red sauce. Maybe they forgot it, I dunno. But I also ordered more meatballs and used that sauce to dip the sandwich

The macchiato was great. I am quite particular about coffee. This coffee was flavorful and strong

Wonderful little family run gem that you should visit

Awful customer service. I called for a week straight, trying to place a catering order in, and when someone finally answered, they kept pushing me to the website instead of taking my order and questions over the phone. I finally placed the catering order online only to get a call from the third-party delivery service that The restaurant was not answering their calls and did not accept my order 30 minutes before my party was gonna begin. Mind you this was also the delivery service that is on theMartoni website.

Like walking into a cafe in Italy! Best panini I ever had in my life, seriously. So many to choose from, all amazing! Salads are very tasty and generous portions. Service is quick and very friendly staff. You might even get a chance to learn some Italian from the very friendly owner, Nino!

This spot is such a treasure! The quality of the coffees, gelatos, and drinks are incredible and authentic. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the owner is incredibly kind and helpful. You can feel the passion for authentic Italian products, and everything here is top quality. Highly recommend stopping by for a true taste of Italy!

We visited Northport on a weekday in April, after visiting the Tulip farm not too far. We were looking for a fast-casual place to eat with the kids, 2 of them vegetarian. We couldn't find anything attractive until we reached the end of the commercial street, at Martoni. We ordered a few panini sandwiches, they were huge, and tasted great! Staff were very friendly too.

Vegetarian options: The menu is attached. We had great vegetarian cheese panini and a vegetarian ravioli.

Parking: On a weekday in Aprill parking wasn't a big problem on a windy afternoon. The parking lot was for free.

Paninis and cappuccinos here are the best in Northport. Small bar inside as well with decent variety of wines/sangria.

A true gem. One of the best and most authentic panni’s I’ve ever had (I had the Lupo). The owner is a fantastic and attentive guy. Everything on menu sounded great and delicious and makes deciding what to eat difficult (cause you want to try everything).
